It's a very simple group of exercises that I came up with.
The point (the reason) is that I want to make it so easy to take action, without burn out by too much things to do, especially when I just a beginner with piano, and music generally.
I gotta learn at least a bit of these 5 categories - Play by ear, Music Theory, Sight Reading, Scales, and Chords.
But for now, I just create of 2 categories.
Starts with Sight Reading, first I gotta try identify the notes of the rage C4 to C5, which is pretty easily, only 13 notes.
I use a app called Music Tutor, that is free on Apple Store, you can remove the ad for only around $3 (79,000VND in Vietnam).
Next is Ear Training, a type of exercise I need to learn is Interval.
Interval is just refer for the distance between two notes.
For instance, you played C4 and then played E4, which has the space between them (a major third).
(Should I use "for instance" or "for example", could you come up with any alternative?)
I use Perfect Ear, it has a lot of exercises and features.
But now I focus on Interval Comparison, which might be easy for beginner like me.
It will play two intervals in a row, and you gotta use your ear to determine which interval is larger or smaller.
Optional, I will select a song then try using either my ear or read sheet music to play a song.
Maybe, I would set a timer to create exercises for 3 other categories left that I mentioned, and learn more about Music Theory.
The Really Simple Exercises I Created Ffor Learning Piano
It'This is a very simple group of exercises that I came up with.
You are introducing something (the piano exercises), so "This is" is better
The point (the reason) is that I wanted to make it soreally easy to take action,do them without burning out by too much things to dofrom being overwhelmed, especially when I am just a beginner with the piano, and with music in generally.
Describing WHY you did something => explaining the reason behind it
I've gotta to learn at least a bitsome of these 5 categories - Play: playing by ear, Mmusic Ttheory, Ssight Rreading, Sscales, and Cchords.
"Gotta" is slang for "got to" but is not accepted as grammatically correct English.
Listing off items, good to use a colon :
No need to capitalize these subjects
But for now, I've just create ofd exercises for 2 categories.
SIt starts with Ssight Rreading, f. First I gottahave to try to identify the notes of the range C4 to C5, which is pretty easily, there are only 13 notes.
I use an app called Music Tutor, thatwhich is free on Apple Store, y. You can remove the ads for only around $3 (79,000 VND in Vietnam).
"App" is ok for casual writing, but for anything official/formal you would want to spell out "application"
Next is Eear Ttraining, a. One type of exercise I need to learn is Intervalcalled interval ear training.
Interval is just refer fors to the distance between two notes.
For instance, if you played C4 and then played E4, which has thethere is a certain space between them (a major third).
(Should I use "for instance" or "for example", could you come up with any alternative?)
Both are good and natural options
I use Perfect Ear, itwhich has a lot of exercises and features.
But for now I focus on Iinterval Ccomparison drills/exercises, which might be easyier for a beginner like me.
ItThe app will play two intervals in a row, and you gottahave to use your ear to determine which interval is larger or smaller.
Optional, I willI can also select a song and then try using either my ear or reading sheet music to play a song.
"I can" already implies it is optional
Maybe, I wouldI might set a timer to work on createing exercises for the 3 other categories left that I mentioned, and learn more about Mmusic Ttheory.
Maybe I would = I might
