I read someone's entry about the novel Grasshopper a few weeks ago.
I was curious about it, so I watched the live action version on Netflix.
It's a suspense action which has lots of assassins.
I can't compare the original story to the live action because I've never read the novel.
Honestly, it was complicated.
I found it difficult to catch up the story because there were many characters.
For example, I was like why this guy holds a grudge against that guy?
However, assassins were really cool.
There was a plot twist in the end, and it developed unexpectedly.

It's difficult to follow along when there are too many characters introduced, I completely understand you. 😂 These days I like to watch simpler things.

I think the matching Japanese for this sentence made sense, but the corresponding English is redundant. While I believe that there are cliché plot twists that can be anticipated, Google says that plot twists are unexpected by definition.

Very well written post! I made a few edits to make things sound a little more natural.
I also have trouble keeping up with movies and TV shows sometimes. I just finished the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen, and I couldn’t remember some characters’ abilities. 😅
