The Internet

When I am looking at my nephew is spending hours on the Internet I think that children should not be allowed to use social media so much time. Nowadays, the children under the age of thirteen spend incredible much time on the Internet. In spite of this, parents do allow their pre-teens to use even YouTube, Instagram or TikTok. So, what is the right age and what are the rules to let kids use social media? Firstly, I have to mention the issue of privacy on the Internet. Children can blab privet information about themselves and their family to scammers, what can become a threat to health, financial well-being, etc. Besides it, lots of others topics exist. In instance, children do not know how to recognize fake accounts, bots, what is mean cyberbullying and often do not understand the difference between real and virtual life. On the other hand, many parents dream their child is wanted in on IT world. Therefore, they permit children to spend unlimited time on the Internet. However, for pre-teens is more important to be a part of online community than acquire skills for your future profession. Parents should teach children the rules of communication on the Internet. The Internet provides children with an unique opportunity to gain knowledge, develop their mind, and creativity. Therefore, it is important how well adults prepare children to use this resource.

Corrections

When I am looking at the number of hours my nephew is spending hours on the Internet, I think that children should not be allowed to use social media so much time.

Is the concern here being online too much, using social media too much, or both?

Another way to say "on the Internet" is to say "to be online." It sounds a little more natural and modern. For example, "When I look at the amount of time my nephew spends online, I start to think that children shouldn't be allowed to use social media so much."

Nowadays, the children under the age of thirteen spend an incredible muchamount of time on the Internet.

In spite of this, pParents doeven allow their pre-teens to use even YouTube, Instagram or TikTok.

So,But what is the right age and what are the rules to let kids use social media?

Firstly, I have to mention the issue of privacy on the Internet.

You don't really enumerate other points in this post, so using "Firstly . . ." sounds a bit odd when you don't really separate points later.

If you want to emphasize this point, I might say instead, "The most important issue is online privacy."

Children can unintentionally blab privatet information about themselves and their family to scammers, w. That can become a threat to their health, financial well-being, etc.

"Blab" is a good word to use here.

Besides it, lots of others topicFurther, many other issues exist.

InFor instance, children do not know how to recognize fake accounts, and bots, what is mean; they don't know what constitutes cyberbullying; and they often do not understand the difference between real and virtual life.

Might be good to emphasize that these are issues that even adults have difficulty with.

On the other hand, many parents dream their child is wanted/ hope that their child might one day work in onthe IT world.

However, for pre-teens is more important to be a part of online community than acquire skills for your future profession.

The Internet provides children with an unique opportunity to gain knowledge, and to develop their mind,s and creativity.

Here's a little quirk: "unique" has a consonant sound of "yu" at the beginning, so "a" sounds better to the ear than "an."

Therefore, it is important how well adults prepare children to use this resource.

I might say instead, "Therefore, it is important for adults to prepare children well to use this resource."

Feedback

This is a good post! I think most of the conversation around kids and the amount of time spent online lately has shifted to basically how much time they spend on social media platforms, and whether or not this is good for them. As with many things, it is a double-edged sword and has both benefits and risks.

I find that the same rules works for 'a university' . Try to remember it.
