The First Hike of Year of the Snake
Yesterday we had our first hike of the year of the snake.
The trail was on a mountain between several small villages. Having just recovered from the flu, I had decided beforehand not to go too fast, so I was way behind my friends when we went up the hill.
After a while, two local hikers caught up with me and told me some beautiful views were opposite my original direction. I stopped to look up on my phone immediately, then decided to change my destination.
They were definitely right. There was a platform with a great view at the top of the hill on this side. I could see the villages and mountains in the distance, as well as a confluence of three rivers.
A dangerous thing happened when I went down the hill. Because the temperature was near zero, my iPhone had a bad battery loss and was running out of battery.
Luckily, I found a shared power bank at a roadside paragliding base and finally met with my friends on time.
