The Earthquake

There was an earthquake here in Japan few days ago. I was using my computer at home, suddenly everything started shaking. I was surprised. I immediately turned off the heater next to me, grabbed my phone, and hurried to the safer place in the room. It was about magnitude 3, so not dangerous and nothing serious, but it was scary.

Thank you so much for correcting my English! I'm really happy that it now sounds natural. The earthquake wasn't big, so I'm okay. :-)
