I originally like cooking, because it includes a lot of creativity and inspiration. Improvisation is also involved, which is important for me. These factors have much influence on many processes of cooking. But I don't want to prepare complicated food, but want to just cook them within 1 hour (30 minutes, far better).
First of all, ingredients need to be at home. You might have bought vegetables which needed to be used up, so you have already determined yesterday what you would prepare today. When you come across cuisines in the internet which look delicious, you will make decision to try this and go to supermarket with your note. You may come up with some menus just after looking at the meats which sell at a bargain price. In this process, various elements such as your feeling, instinct or your situations affect what to cook. You can't know if you stay with your origninal idea of cooking. Even if all ingredients are at hand, your whim can work and make you try to prepare other menus.
Then, you move on to the process of preparing. First, ingredients are preprocessed by peeling off the vegetables, salting or peppering fish, etc. Apparently, this process have nothing to be changed. But your emotions can let it change. If you are not in a good condition and are annoyed by slicing thinly, you instead cut ingredients roughly. If you have more time for cooking, you can prepare ingredients more carefully.
