The Art of losing time
People have only one live, and they need to achieve some kind of balance between their personal and profesinal live. Me too. And because of that I always feel angry when people lose their time and mine.
On my job people use to have a lot of meetings. It's normal. In business consultancy you can't work alone, and you have a new team in every new project you start. But I'm always surprised about how people have an enormous lack of empathy. In my opinion to extend a meeting beyond it's necesary is a clear lack of empathy. Every person in a meeting needs to be aware that other things needs to be done, and people want to return home as soon as posible to spend time with their family.
I will propose to stick on the wall the 10 commandments of a meeting. The first one will be "You shall not covet your neighbour's time"
