I recently went to a tennis tournament that was held in the school opposite to ours. Our form teacher took our class there during our form time so we could cheer up for our friend Tom who was one of the competitors and who was supposed to be the best tennis player in our school.
After the opponent’s tossed a coin, Tom got to serve first. Nonetheless, he lost the first two serves. Then he accidentally stepped on the base line and the first point went to his rival. When he took a big bite of banana he seemed to have recovered from fatigue. The score was 40-15.
To me the organisers of the event are worthy of praise for shadowing the court and not exposing us to sunburn or heat exhaustion. Personally I recommend watching sports competitions live - it's a good revision of game rules and a good way to bond a group of fans into a closely knit team.

This is a run-on sentence. Native speakers struggle with run-on sentences too. However, I have found it useful to try and limit your sentences to one or two ideas. For instance, you are introducing three ideas here: your form teacher taking the class to cheer for Tom, Tom being a competitor in the tournament, and Tom being the best tennis player. I fixed this sentence by introducing the first idea in one sentence, and the other two ideas in a different sentence. It is easier to follow what you are saying if you avoid run-on sentences.
After the opponent’s tossed a coin, Tom got to serve first.
Nonetheless, he lost the first two serves.
Then he accidentally stepped on the base line and the first point went to his rival.
When he took a big bite of a banana, he seemed to have recovered from fatigue.
The score was 40-15.

Using the word shadowing in this context is not common, but correct. I would prefer the word shading. Shadowing is usually used when describing someone who follows around a worker at their work place (e.g. someone who shadows a doctor, would spend a work day with the doctor to learn what a typical day looks like for them).
Personally, I recommend watching sports competitions live - i. It's a good revision ofway of learning the game rules, and a good way to bond a group of fans into a closely knit teamwith a fan group.
Revision is typically only used in an academic context (e.g. revising for an exam).
Feedback
This is a good journal. Just watch out for run-on sentences, and wordy phrases. Try to convey your ideas in the simplest way you can imagine.
