Losing My Brother's Cap
Few weeks ago, I had forgot my brother's cap at the train and when I had realized, the train had left to staition. I had been looking at behind of the train like a little child who lost her candy. I thought to replace with same or buy a different cap. This was hard to decide, I ended up buying new one. The new cap is arrived yesterday and I put it at him head, and it didn't suit on him.
Now, I have a new cap.

Infact, my brother is really cool about it. He said, "There is no need to buy new one." But, I felt bad about it. If I found something that he want, I am going to buy for him.

I changed the gender because usually the subject in expressions like "taking candy from a baby" (which is not the same you used, but is close) is male (also you brother is male). So, it sounded a bit better for me but it was not really a grammatical error in itself.
