Talking at the table

Today I am going to talk about the dinner. But not about food, I'm going to talk about talking at the dinner. The dinner is one of the rare moments the family can get together. And it's considered as a tradition in many families. I think it's important because it enables to kids to open up because they are more able to open up when they're eating. Before, I think in the 90's, the dinner wasn't the same at all. Kids weren't in the same table of the parents and if they were, they had to be quiet and to have a perfect behaviour. But now, it changed a lot. Kids are dinning with the dinner and are more free to act as they want. It can be a shock culture for the grand parents because of the awkward questions the kids can ask. Thanks a lot for reading !

I rarely eat dinner together with my family at the same table.

Your writing was too clumped together; try using paragraphs; it makes English texts easier to read. Nice writing 👏🏾👏🏾

You are welcome :)

Today I am going to talk about the dinner.

The general meal of "dinner" is uncountable. One specific "dinner" meal is countable.

But not about food, I'm going to talk about talking at the dinner.

The dDinner is one of the rare moments the family can get together.

You could also add "when" after "moments," but it's not strictly necessary

Kids weren't inat the same table ofwith the parents, and if they were, they had to be quiet and to have a perfect behaviour.

"behavior" is uncountable unless you are talking about a specific action.

But now, it has changed a lot.

Kids are dinning (?) with the dinner and are more free to act as they want.

I do not understand "dinning." Do you mean "creating a lot of din (noise)"? If this is a pun, most people will not understand.

It can be a shock culture shock for the grand parents because of the awkward questions the kids can ask.

Thanks a lot for reading !

You wrote a lot of interesting ideas. It's interesting to think about how cultures change over time, and how old and young people feel about these changes.
