Challenge, Day 49

Today is the 49 day of my daily English challenge. First of all, Today is really a big challeng I did. I translate the quote from Arabic to English. I hope I did a good job!

You couldn't expect anybody that love you if you don't know firstly how you love yourself. If you could not firstly love yourself, you never received love from everybody. And that's the best which would know; you love yourself firstly.

Thank you so much. I have some questions to ask you, but I prefer to send you tomorrow. I need to understand your correction.

Challenge, Day 49

Today is the 49 day of my daily English challenge.

Today is the 49th day of my daily English challenge. Today is the 49th day of my daily English challenge.

ordinals get 2 letters added to the end to differentiate them from numerals ex. 1 = one, 1st = first and everything gets -th unless it's 1, 2, or 3: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th... 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th... 30th, 31st, 32nd, 33rd, 34th...

First of all, Today is really a big challeng I did.

First of all, Ttoday iwas really a big challeng I dide. First of all, today was really a big challenge.

"i did" is kind of implied, it sounds odd to include it

I translate the quote from Arabic to English.

I translate thed a quote from Arabic to English. I translated a quote from Arabic to English.

i changed this + the last sentence into the past tense since you already did it, it sounds a bit off in the present tense

I hope I did a good job!

You couldn't expect anybody that love you if you don't know firstly how you love yourself.

You couldn't expect anybody thato love you if you don't know firstly how you love yourself. You couldn't expect anybody to love you if you don't know firstly how you love yourself.

anybody that loves you = anybody, who does love you -- "that loves you" is an adjective to describe "anybody," it does not function as a verb here anybody to love you = anybody(n) to love(v) you(obj) -- i believe this is the subjunctive mood but it's very rare in English so I'm actually not sure lol. but this is what you meant to say

If you could not firstly love yourself, you never received love from everybody.

If you could not firstly love yourself, you first, you could never received love from everanybody. If you could not love yourself first, you could never receive love from anybody.

you never received love = past tense i'm going to copy/paste something i wrote about if/then statements from another correction i did: if [present tense] , then [present tense] OR [will/can/must + verb] OR [imperative] -- if it rains, then you will get wet. ***if [past simple] , then [would/could + verb] -- ex. if it rained, then you could get wet. if [past perfect] , then [would/could (optional: have) + participle/verb] -- ex. if it had rained, then you could have gotten wet. your if-statement was past tense, so your then-statement (which doesn't actually require the word "then") has to be could/would + verb(receive)

And that's the best which would know; you love yourself firstly.

And that's the best wthich would know; young to remember; love yourself firstly. And that's the best thing to remember; love yourself first.

the best which would know = "the best" knows something -- makes no sense since "the best" has no brain to know anything :v "you love yourself" sounds like it should be a command/imperative, so i got rid of the "you" because of that i also switched out "know" for "remember" because i thought it would just sound more natural, most often quotes/adages/sayings like these are said to remind people of how they should behave/think, but they're common enough that we typically already know about them
