What are "Fake News" ?

It's easy to recognize the importance of the issue of Fake News in today's society. However, when we try to aproach the topic , the first difficulties of definition and contextualisation appear immediately. Fortunately, a good definition you can find int he Oxford Dictionaries some years ago:
"an adjective defined as relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief"
This definition already introduces us to philosophically charged concepts: "objective facts", "public opinion", "self-beliefs". Notions that I will try to link to some historical moments of thought.
