Today's school was half so I went to a sushi restaurant at lunch with my mother. Surprisingly, I met an old friend of mine there. They are my fellow members of the tennis club from when we were in junior high school. I was glad to see them. Also, we promised to play tennis together during summer vacation. I'm looking forward to it.

(1) Mind the tense. You're writing about the past (junior high school), so you should use the past tense "were".
(2) "An old friend" is singular, so "members" should also be singular ("member").
I was glad to see them.
Also, we promised to play tennis together during summer vacation.
