Summer nights are really nice, especially in the countryside. Back in the seventies, I was a kid and studied in primary school. When summer night came, we fellow kids went to a threshing ground with a mat on the top of our head and the threshing ground was out of our village and near a farm. Generally, there were seven or eight kids in a group. There were a few year old kids and there were also teenagers. The twinkling stars in the sky, the night wind blowing gently and the insects chirped. The teenagers would tell us a story. We watched a different star and told a legend story to each one. When we heard the sound of generator, we knew there must be a village that was playing a movie and we would go towards the direction that the generator sound was from to find which village was playing movies. At times when we went back after the movie, it was already in the small hours. However, sleeping outside in the summer night is nice, but you would feel a bit tired in the morning and your quilt was kind of wet. If it was raining at night, that would be awfully terrible!

When summer nights came, we fellow kids wentould go to a threshing ground with a mat on the top of our head and ts. The threshing ground was out of our village and near a farm.
Since you did this activity on many summer nights, I would say “would go” rather than “went.” “Went” implies that it was an activity you did one time.
If you all helped carry one mat I would say “with a mat on top of our heads.” If each person carried their own mat, I would say “with mats on top of our heads.”
I would recommend breaking this into two sentences for clarity.
Generally, there were seven or eight kids in a group.
There were a few year old kids and there were also teenagers.
The twinkling starsstars would twinkle in the sky, the night wind would blowing gently, and the insects would chirped.
In this sentence, you use both present tense (“stars in the sky,” “blowing gently”) and past tense (“chirped”). For continuity, they should all be in one tense. Based on the next sentence, I chose to correct this to a form of past tense.
You could also say:
“The stars twinkled in the sky, the night wind blew gently, and the insects chirped.”
The teenagers would tell us a story.
We watched a different stars and told a legend story abouto each one.
When we heard the sound of a generator, we knew there must be a village that was playing a movie and w. We would go towards the direction that the generator sound was coming from to find which village was playing movies.
While it is correct, you could replace “we would go towards the direction that the generator sound was coming from” with “we would follow the sound” to shorten the sentence.
Example:
“When we heard the sound of a generator, we knew there must be a village that was playing a movie. We would follow the sound to find which village was playing movies.”
At times when we went back after the movie, it was already in the small hours of the night.
However,Even though sleeping outside ion thea summer night is nice, but you would feel a bit tired in the morning and your quilt wasould be kind of wet.
If it was raining at night, that would be awfully terrible!
