Everybody who works in a big corporations knows about a "Corporate fluff".
It means using many nice words but say nothing real.
I think that recent years this phenomenon also expanded to a privat life and cover almost all social activities.
- platforms like YouTube and Instagram have removed visible "dislikes" to create an illusion of universal approval
- toxic positivity on LinkedIn, peolpe should always demonstrate "win" style. If they start to critisize something they risk to be labeled as "difficult"
- "always 5 star" service industries are expected to be only 5 -star in the reports and never any other level. This pressures people to write always the formal "It was great!".
- expressing genuine dislike is often seen as aggression. And vise versa - the empty and extremely evident information considered as a "opening eyes","rare" and "extremely helpful and priceless"
That is all that I wanted to say today.
Thank you.
I will be glad to know your honest feedback.
But remember- it should be only positive! Or next time I will write that you were "difficult"!

@Milano, this YouTube video doesn't exactly match this topic, but I thought of you when I watched it because you have written about your experiences with big corporations like Google, interview questions, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T__1QViXUxk

"only" in front of 5-star makes it sound like 5-stars is a low rating. "only" in front of "in the reports" emphasizes that it's nowhere else but in the reports

lol. I seriously hate reddit for this reason (but I still use it sometimes). You can only post if you have the "correct," and very sanitized, opinion! I am glad I changed my career path and did not end up at a corporate job, I don't think I could bear it.
