Sounds I Hear 1 [Revised]

(I want it to be like a casual novel. Like Amy Tan.)
For a long time, maybe for a few years, I had been thinking, "That someone, vacuuming the house all the time!" I heard it in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening. And one day this idea suddenly came to me: That might have been electric cars!
I have always liked the sound of something occasionally going in the sky. One day, contrary to my imagination, with the sound I saw two helicopters above me. But whatever they were, that is not very important. The thing is that they make the same sound that I heard in "Star Wars." I watched it back in my country, when I was a teenager. So, now I know that the sound is just an ordinary thing here, but every time I hear it I am in "Star Wars."
This is America. I'm still here. In a city that I love so much, though today it's suffering from problems... (to be continued)

聞こえてくる様々な音　その１
（これは娯楽小説のようにしたいと思います。目指すは Amy Tan！）

長いこと、たぶん２，３年の間、私はずっと「どこだか、年がら年中掃除機をかけてるお家があるな」と思っていた。朝に昼に夜に、それは聞こえてくる。そしてある日、突然、あれは電気自動車だ！という考えがひらめいた。
私はいつも、空を行く何物かが立てるある音が好きだった。ある日、予期に反して、あの音と共に私の頭上にいたのは二機のヘリコプターだった。しかし、それが何であろうと、それはあまり重要ではない。大事なのはその音は私が『スターウォーズ』で聞いた音だということだ。私はあの映画を昔、十代の頃、母国で見た。ということで、あれはここでは何ということもない日常的な音なのだと分かったが、私はそれを聞くたびに『スターウォーズ』の中にいる。
ここはアメリカ。私はまだここにいる。このこよなく愛する街に。今この街は様々な問題に苦しんでいるけれど…（つづく）
