Sorghum Plant
Chinese sorghum is a popular crop planted in my hometown. It is not a staple crop in my area, and its grains don't taste good either, but it used to be a main source for farmers' livelihoods.

However, people in my area rarely plant Chinese sorghum nowadays. I guess the reason might be that Chinese sorghum is only a coarse grain, and since living conditions have improved a lot, they don't need to eat sorghum or make their daily - use items from sorghum.
I saw some farmers still planting sorghum, but it is not the one farmers planted in the past. Instead, it's a kind of sorghum that is shorter than the one in the past. They plant the sorghum for alcohol factories to make liquor.
