Think about it like this. The goal for these games is to somehow get the richest people in every country to play the game. The people paying this much are really the people with the extremely lucrative sources of income that you might be able to imagine: doctors, lawyers, politicians, securities traders, actors, sports players, entertainers, real estate magnates, oil barons, all of the above. They also, of course, target the children of these types of people.

Then, the intended economics of the game play out. They make the costumes that cost $1000 make the player's character look much much cooler than everyone else's character, so that the player immediately feels an artificial boost to their social status when they buy the items. By making them this expensive, these games make more money than the traditionally priced games of the past did. If 20 out of 1000 players each spend $1000 on the game, then the game makes more money than if it was sold for $10 like it would have been in the past.

So, you are comparing yourself to the top 20 richest people on the server (the top 2% richest people), which is bound to be a disappointing comparison. Don't worry, the rest of us 980 people are here with you making the same comparison.

Don't let it affect you. Be the best person that you can be in your own life.

For new things/habits that we start, we use past tense. In this case it sounds like the mobile game is a new habit that you started, so we should say "I started".

"I started" for the same reason mentioned above.

"Has launched" because it is past tense once again. "HAVE launched" can be said if we are taking about multiple things. For example, "THEY have launched a new server".

"In a few hours" implies that is something that is going to happen. But it seems like you are talking about something that already has happened.

The word "people" is already implied plural in English.

Where do they come from?

What do they do for a living?

Recently, I started to play a mobile game, in this game havthere are a lot of options for spentding money in the shop, but they are all expensive.

"I start" means that you regularly start, like "I start cleaning after dinner every day". For something like a habit that you've started, you'd use the past tense because the start point is in the past.

I'm amazed that there are people with so much money to spend on a mobile game,. "yours" is a very specific phrase in most forms of English, and it means "your family members and loved ones". It's only used in a few contexts.

"peoples" similarly is a niche word. "people" is already the plural of person. "peoples" is used for talking about societies or cultures.

What do they do for a living?

What I've heard before from people who have talked to people in the game companies is that these rich players are often from the finance industry, or e.g. involved in the oil industry in countries where that makes a small number of people a lot of money.

However, there's also people who are like people who have gambling problems, except with video games, who spend that much money despite not really having it. It's why in a lot of countries in europe, there's talk every few years about limiting how much people can spend on those types of games.
