I don’t know why, but I feel depressed today. In English, is there any different word to express the same meaning? Unhappy, break down, are there right? When I am in a bad mood, I often don’t know how to deal with it. I only stay in silence and keep in this situation until the time passes. Everyone would encounter this kind of mood and without any clear reason. Life is wonderful and fills out many unknown mysteries. I don’t know what I should say now. I am a little sad, a little depressed. It seems there is not much hope for me and I live just to pass the rest of my lives.

Yes, you can say you are unhappy, but sometimes you are unhappy because you are disappointed. Depressed is much stronger and could give people the impression that it is a medical/mental problem. Having a breakdown (at least that is what I think you are trying to say) is really not appropriate, unless you're depression is really bad and you need professional help.

When I am in a bad mood, I often don’t know how to deal with it.
