When browsing the internet last night, I found an article about the trigger that made someone able to suddenly speak English.
The article said that after someone dreamed of speaking English, they became able to speak it.
I dreamed of speaking English a little, but I can't speak it in real life.
So, I thought that the trigger depends on the person.

昨日の晩、ネットを見ていたら、英語が急に話せるようになったきっかけについて書かれた記事を見つけました。
その記事には、英語で話す夢を見てから話せるようになったと書いてありました。
私も少しだけ英語で話す夢を見ましたが、実際には話す事はできません。
なので、きっかけは人それぞれだと思いました。

There is nothing wrong with putting "suddenly" where you put it, but I think this way sounds a bit more natural --> they suddenly gained the ability, rather than they suddenly/randomly burst out speaking English

Great paragraph, and a very interesting topic as well. Apparently there was an Australian guy (a native English speaker) who was in a car crash and went into a coma, and when he woke up he could only speak fluent Mandarin (his second language) - this seems like the easiest trigger to suddenly be able to speak your target language! I'd prefer the dream method myself though, I think :)
