When I was in elementary school and middle school, why did I study hard? It seemed I had a weak body when I was a kid, and I had to do some farm work. One farm work that strongly impressed me was pulling stone mills. Every time I do that, I always feel dizzy and vomited, and those kinds of feelings are extremely horrible. So I thought I wasn’t qualified to be a farmer, and if I became a farmer, I would die for not producing enough food to eat. At that time, the only thing I could do to avoid being a farmer was study hard to get a job assigned by the nation. If I was growing up in the nineties, I probably would not have a good grade in school, because I didn’t really have to. I could do a small business and work in a private enterprise for a living, and something like that, but in the early eighties, these kinds of livelihoods were all impossible. There are many limitations in a person’s life, including personal, historical and social. But anyway, I am satisfied with my current situation. It's hard to say whether it’s good or not. Maybe it’s just an ordinary life. But this is enough. The plain and light life is a happy life.
