Skip a day

I was supposed to take quizzes today, but I felt lazy all day. I decided to skip studying.
Instead, I played Duolingo and reached the end of the English course. My score in Duolingo is 130, which is the highest in this course! Of course, there are legend levels available, so I will take the course little by little later.
Other than that, I did laundry and made dinner. Today was a peaceful, normal day.

Skipping a day

I was supposed to takedo quizzes today, but I felt lazy all day.

Instead, I played Duolingo and reached the end of the English course.

"play" is not normally used for things that are not specifically games or instruments, but I see you mentioned a score, so maybe there's a game in Duolingo? I'm not too familiar with the app to say whether it's correct or not here, but play did sound a little strange to me.

Thank you! If I should use the other word instead of "play", what do you recommend putting in its place?

"used", "spent some time on" are both options here.

Skipping a day

Skip a day is a command. "Skipping a day" is the presentence you wanna use here.

So, I decided to skip studying.

Optional, but it's good to include transition words. Here, "so" describes causation.

Instead, I played on Duolingo and reached the end of the English course.

Well, Duolingo itself is not exactly a game. So you played (somehow) ON it.

My score ion Duolingo is 130, which is the highest inpossible for this course!

Of course, there are legend levels available, so I will takcontinue the course little by little later.

You already take the couse, instead, you will continue it it.

Other than that, I did laundry and made dinner.

On for something playing! Prepositions are always changing to me. Thank you for your feedback!

Clarification: Duolingo has many features that make it like a game. However, it is primarily a tool for studying languages so "playing it" isn't exactly the best description.

"on" is for location: You could say "I did some exercises on Duolingo," or "I practiced with Duolingo on my phone."

Skip a dDay

I was supposed to take quizzes today, but I felt lazy all day, so I decided to skip studying.

I decided to skip studying.

Instead, I played Duolingo and reached the end of the English course.

My score in Duolingo score is 130, which is the highest score in this course!

Of course, there are lLegend levels available, so I will takplan to continue the course little by little later.

Other than that, I did laundry and made dinner.

Today was a peaceful, normaldinary day.
