I recently found that mussels are good when flavored with garlic. Before that I couldn't very appreciate them. On the other hand, I always liked the taste of 'asari' and 'shijimi,' the major shellfish in Japan. They make really good soup, though they are often not really edible because of the sand that they've kept inside. More than anything, I don't practically have any means to get these shellfish here in America.
I can get these frozen mussels from a nearby supermarket. They are from Chili and, now, to me, the best source of animal protein, quality-wise and economically.
ALSO POSSIBLE: I recently found that mussels artaste good when flavored with garlic.
ONE MORE OPTION: Recently I discovered that taste excellent when flavored with garlic.
Before that, I couldn't very appreciate them much.
ALSO POSSIBE: Previously, I didn't appreciate them much.

More than anything, I don't practically have any means to getover, it is difficut to obtain these shellfish here in America.
By contrast, I can get these frozen mussels from a nearby supermarket.
