SERIAL CUL-DE-SAC POOPER

No matter how you disguise your poop, there’s always a reckoning!
It all started in Connecticut, USA on November 7th of 2018 when a resident of the East Granby neighborhood called the cops because he found something in the cul-de-sac near his house. The something was very stinky.
When the cops arrived they were able to determine that the poop was human and was covered with needles.
When more feces were found 9 days later, on November 16th, a motion-activated camera was placed in the area to determine who was committing the crimes. Shortly after, on December 5th, the third crime was committed but now the police got the footage from the camera and easily identified the suspect. It was the 43 year-old woman Holly Malone who lived around three-and-a-half miles away from the cul-de-sac. The woman apologized and blamed it on being lactose intolerant since she couldn’t make it to the nearest bathroom or her home on time.
She was charged with second degree breach of piece and was out on $500 bond.
The moral of the story is: if you poop in a public place, a reckoning will reach you anyhow!

Theat something was very stinky.

When the cops arrived they were able to determine that the poop, was human andhich was covered with needles, was human.

Two problems. You don't need the police to see the needles. Hence it needs to be a sub-clause. Also you should specify what kind of needles. Do you mean pine needles? Or needles as in syringes?

When more feces were found 9nine days later, on November 16th, a motion-activated camera was placed in the area to determine who was committing the crimes.

Numbers under 10 are normally written out.

Shortly after, on December 5th, thea third crime was committed but nowthis time the police got the footage from the camera and easily identified the suspect.

You only say "the third crime" if you've already mentioned that there were three crimes.

It was the 43 year-old woman Holly Malone who lived around three-and-a-half miles away from the cul-de-sac.

The woman apologized and blamed it on being lactose intolerant since, claiming she couldn’t make it to the nearest bathroom or her home oin time.

"On time" means arriving punctually. "In time" means making it to the bathroom before it all goes horribly wrong.

She was charged with second degree breach of piethe peace and was out on a $500 bond.

Piece vs peace - same pronunciation but different meanings.

The moral of the story is: if you poop in a public place, a reckoning will reach you anyhow!...

"a reckoning will reach you anyhow!" doesn't make sense. Better to say something like: the poop will still manage to follow you home. Or, the poop will come back to haunt you.

Feedback

Fun story nicely written. I remember reading about it at the time.

hmmm... it does make sense to me unless I understadnd the meaning of the reckoning word right. When fate repays one off for what he did, that's a reckoning, isn't it?
