(How would a native speaker express the following meanings?)

¶
1 Doing exercises frequently helps people build their confidence.
Exercising a lot makes people more confident.
Both sentences are correct, but in spoken English I would only use the second sentence.
But these two sentences sound like they are talking about different things. The first sounds like it's talking about a textbook or workbook with practice exercises. The second sounds like it's talking about going to the gym (and could not be used to talk about anything other than physical exercise.)
If you want the first sentence to sound more like it's talking about physical exercise, but still professional, you could say:
Frequent exercise helps people build confidence.
Now the sentences mean the same thing, but the first is just more formal than the second ("a lot" is informal.)
2 The teaching quality has a great influence on students' performance.
"great influence" is OK but not...great. "big influence" is how you'd say it in spoken English. In academic writing, I might say something like "has a profound impact."
3 Parents and teachers are supposed to make an efforts to limit Cchildren's TV time.
Formal: Parents and teachers should make an effort to limit children's TV time.
Parents and teachers should try to shorten Climit children's TV time.
Less formal: Parents and teachers are supposed to get kids to watch less TV.
Note: "should" and "are supposed to" can't be used interchangeably.
5 The eEconomic development requires a lot of young labour.
The eEconomic development depends on young workers a lot.
