Chet Baker's singing really gets to me everytime I hear it.
My investments are certainly no big-ticket items for the bank.

Both are correct, but "not" just sounds better to me.

Although, I suppose too that it's a bit weird to talk about investments as "big-ticket items" for a bank, unless you were in fact an investment banker that has done particularly poorly
