Reading English
I think reading regularly in english can be very useful, even though it demands concentration.
On the one hand, it allows to find out natural vocabulary, to review a few structures already learnt and to understand the building phrases better.
On the other hand it can be difficult to read a texte when we meet too many unknown words or when we understand only the general idea.
Personally, i noticed that the readingis happening better when we choose adapted texts at his level and we accept to not understand all at the beginnings.
Je pense que lire régulièrement en anglais peut être très utile, même si cela demande de la concentration.
D’un côté, cela permet de découvrir du vocabulaire naturel, de revoir des structures déjà apprises et de mieux comprendre comment les phrases sont construites.
D’un autre côté, il peut être décourageant de lire un texte quand on rencontre trop de mots inconnus ou quand on comprend seulement l’idée générale.
Personnellement, j’ai remarqué que la lecture se passe beaucoup mieux quand on choisit des textes adaptés à son niveau et qu’on accepte de ne pas tout comprendre dès le début.
