Russell Peters's Stand-up

Last Saturday, I went to a stand-up.

Stand-up is an art about the offense. If someone sits in the front of the performing platform, they usually become a part of a stand-up show —— be made a fool by the comedians. So I was very nervous but hopefully, my given ticket made me out of this exciting interaction, I curled up into my seat in the mountain and laughed with my classmates.

The show was really fun. In the first half, Russell baited almost half people in the first line. Then he shared his thought about the gap between generations, and typical Russell jokes -- stereotype about different races. His venomous tongue makes me scream with laughter.

Newark is a good place and I would visit there again.

Russell Peters's Stand-up

If a name ends with an "s," we don't add an "'s" to make it possessive. We just add an apostrophe after the final "s."

I would love to say that my seat is in Tier 3 which is on the third floor and see the stage like that I am on the top of a mountain haha, would you love to help me to describe it concisely? Thanks for your help.

ohh! I see. So I'd say, "My seat was in Tier 3 of the third floor so, looking at the stage, it was as if I were standing on top of a mountain." Basically, you were in the nose-bleed seats. :D

OMG, the word nose-bleed is so humorous to describe the seat, the seat is far away from the stage, it’s a little pity, but use the word ‘nose-bleed’ to describe that ‘I would be really exciting to sit at so high level’ , it’s like a self-mimic! it really makes my day, English is so fun, thanks!
