Hello. I'm a sock.
I used to always be with my other half.
But, One day, we were put in the washing machine and we spun and spun.
And when it noticed, I was alone.
I wonder where my other half went, still inside the washing machine or another world?.
I'm fighting a lint ball called lonely in the corner of the drawer.
This is my life just one side.

こんにちは、ぼくは靴下。
かつては、もう片方といつも一緒だった。
でも、ある日、洗濯機に入れられて、ぐるぐる回された。
気づいたら、ぼくだけになっていた。
もう片方はどこに行ったんだろう。
洗濯機の奥？、別の世界？
僕は今は引き出しのすみっこで、
孤独という名の毛玉と戦ってる。
これが、ぼくの片方だけの人生。

I think this is what 気づいたら means... in Japanese it's so straight-forward, but saying "When I noticed, something happened" is weird in English. We have a bunch of different phrases like "Before I realized it" and "By the time I realized it"
I wonder where my other half went,; still inside the washing machine or? Or in another world?.
Need to add "in" because we don't usually say "inside a world"
I'm fighting a lint ball called lLonelyiness in the corner of the drawer.
"Lonely" is okay, but "Loneliness" describes the metaphor that you are fighting loneliness better (it's more accurate to the JP as well I think, "called Lonely" would be more like saying 寂しいという名)
This is my life as just one sidehalf.

More often than not, the thing we try hard to look for is just right in front of us without us noticing. So just sit back and it will come out of nowhere and say "Surprise!" and give you a jump scare to boot. 😆
