Hi, I would like to improve my english. In school I had bad grades. I was late with learning vocabularies, I didn't like to talk in classroom, and rarely I cared for my homework, so I couldn't read my homework out loud in front of my classmates and teachers. Of course I stopped understanding what's going on during the lessons more and more. Still I liked english, and still I learned sth in school. Books were interesting for me and the lyrics of some singer and songwriters as well. Songs, travels, english-speaking-friends and books made me talking and feeling confident with this language. But still I encounter a weak use of vocabularies, and mistakes in the grammar, so I am still not confident for to use my english knowledge at work, and a little bit sad to see me not progressing clearly. Please correct me ( of course only if you want and if it can be kind of a pleassure for you, too)❤

"vocabularies" would mean more than "vocabulary" which is a rather unusual concept to talk about - for example if you were learning multiple languages at once. For a single language, we don't use the plural of vocab (and rarely use the full word vocabulary to be honest).
"slow" is better than "late" here as it emphasises a process taking a while.
Of course I stopped understanding what' was going on during the lessons more and more.

"what's" is a contraction of "what is", but since this is past tense you need "what was"

"I encounter" makes it seem like you're observing something from outside, which makes it sound unnatural when applied to your own actions.
