Morty is 14 years old and in love with Jessica, a girl from his math class. He is always overthinking about the future and overreacting to situations, but he is a sweet boy who loves and cares about his family.

His grandfather, a genius-alcoholic scientist, keeps taking him on the craziest adventures around the galaxy. They cause a lot of trouble wherever they go, but they have a great time together, and all of this helps to create a strong bond between them.

Usually we don't say "overthinking about", just "overthinking" or "overthinking (something)." Generally overthinking implies thinking about the future/about consequences, so I think just "overthinking" is okay.

You don't take someone "to" an adventure, you take them "on" and adventure. The adventure is the journey, not the destination, therefore you use "on."

I have to disagree and believe that there are no errors in this sentence. The writer is being specific about what Morty overthinks, so any omission will change the context of the sentence.

The reason we do not need "most" is because strangest already means most strange because of the -est ending. An example would be large, larger, largest where largest is the most large.
