Renovation Day 3

Today's worker came to my house around 9 am. He brought many tools for today.

After he arrived, the assembled cabinets started to find their right places. (It was super noisy, though! I couldn't focus on my work at all. I know he had to do it, but it was really noisy, and I was sorry for my neighbours.) The bottom cabinets were quickly done, but the upper cabinets weren't because of the ceiling.
It turned out our unit ceiling isn't flat; it's very slightly bent and sloped. As I had written before, this building is old(but not very old; it's almost the average age of the buildings in this city), so it was not surprising to me.
Now the problem is how to set the cabinets on the wall properly, even though we have this crooked surface. He struggled to find a better solution, and he explained to me that he would make the cabinets lower from the current position to avoid their doors scratching the ceiling when we open them.
As you imagine, it would be a big revision, so he just gave it up for today and went out.

On the other side, there was another problem.
I got an email from the contractor company. They said they will arrange for an electrician next week, and no idea about the plumber yet, so the other manager will call me back later. WHAT? Do you say that I have to stay without a kitchen over the weekend and for a week more? We've already spent a lot of money on taking out food!
They confirmed the construction will be finished in a week. And they changed their words. This is not the first time.

Originally, they were supposed to start my project at the end of November. I gave them enough time to set the date for my unit, so I had already waited for 2 months by then. But a week before the original date, when I checked the schedule, they just said the date had been delayed. I was upset, but I didn't show my emotions to them. Just let they know my other appliances would deliver on the original date.
I was so disappointed after I got the email today, so I sent an email with my concern and complaint(I got help from AI); I am not asking you to rush the project, but we wish you would let us know a clear schedule.

Let's see how it goes...

Thanks for your feedback, Hank123!
It’s easy to understand what I missed.
I have a question: the worker who came here yesterday was a new person. We met first time yesterday. Can I use ‘the’ in this case too? Or should I describe more like now and use THE from the next sentences?

Today's worker came to my house around 9 am.

We tend to keep "pm" and "am" right next to the number without a space.

He brought many tools fto do the work today.

(It was super noisy, though!

I couldn't focus on my work at all.

I know he had to do it, but it was really noisy, and I was. I also felt sorry for my neighbours.)

The bottom cabinets were quickly done, but the upper cabinets weren't finished because of the ceiling.

It turned out our unit ceiling isn't flat; it's very slightly bent and sloped.

As I had written before, this building is old(but not very old; so it was not surprising to me. However this house is not especially old since it's almost the average age of the buildings in this city), so it was not surprising to me.

I would separate the two thoughts here in writing. In a conversation these two topics would be overlapping like this.

As you imagine, it would be a big revision, so he just gave it up for today. So for today he gave up and went out.

You could say "gave up" but technically he decided to stop work for the day which is a more professional phrasing of it.

On the other sidehand, there was another problem.

If you say "side" and you're referring to renovations it sounds like the other side of your kitchen.

I got another email from the contractor company.

They said they will arrange for an electrician next week, but hand no idea about the plumber yet, so the other manager will call me back later.

"but" is used for contrast.

I thought: WHAT?!

Do you saymean that I have to stay without a kitchen over the weekend and for a week morelonger?

We've already spent a lot of money on taking out foode-out!

They had first confirmed the construction will be finished in a week.

AndBut now they changed their wordpromises.

I gave them enough time to set the date for my unit, so I had already waited for 2 months by then.

But a week before the original date, when I checked the schedule, they just said the date had been delayed.

I was upset, but I didn't show my emotions to them.

JThey just let theyme know my other appliances would deliver on the original date.

I was so disappointed after I got the email today, so I sent an email with my concern and complaint(. I got help from AI); to write it.

I am not asking you to rush the project, but we wish you would let us know a clear and definitive schedule.

Feedback

I understand your pain, contractors change their promises all the time!

Your feedback sentences are very smooth to read. I will try to connect sentences like how you made next time. It was a long journal, I appreciate your help!
