Group ABCDE has five members in total. We have cooperated very well; everyone was positive to devote to the group work. Within the first time of the team meeting, each person was passionate to share their ideas and suggestions, taking the initiative to accept the tasks. In result, it was very efficient to figure out the task allocation approach of the group report which everyone was in charge of two chapters and 400 words. We followed up the progress in every later meeting. Everyone accomplished their tasks on time. I acted as a convener and am responsible for creating chat groups and google docs, organizing four times meetings, adding templates etc. I am a very organized person, so I managed it well.
Since this is the first time I carried out academic group work, I have learned a lot from it. First, Before the meeting, A shared a project contract sample. B wrote and submitted the first draft of the group contract. Consequently, within the team meeting, focusing on the draft it is much easier to discuss the proper change about the group contract, so we completed this task five day earlier than the due date. Second, A, B and C cited a lot from different academic resources to support their perspectives. On the same note, put figures into the report to enhance understanding. More so, their language is very concise and coherence. Therefore, if next time I do group work, I would like to contribute more. Apart from this, I would pay more attention to my writing and citing skills.
