I want to speak English naturally, not like a textbook! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
I want to speak like a native speaker!! Seriously!!๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Would you please help me by correcting anything that's wrong or sounds unnatural in these sentences?
You can change whatever you want!
It's alright if you change an entire sentence!!
I'd like to learn some common phrases and slang! ๐
I'd also like to hear your advice on how to have conversations with English speakers.
I'm looking forward to receive your constructive criticism.โ๏ธ
B: What did you have for lunch yesterday?
A: Pancakes!
B: Ohh, nice, did you put a lot of maple syrup on them?
A: Of course! They wouldn't be pancakes if I didn't!
B: True! Did you add any toppings?
A: Just butter. I would've added cream, but I forgot to buy it.
B: What about fruits?
A: Nope. They're too expensive.
B: Simple is yummy, too!
A: Yeah, but It is a bit lackluster.
B: There's always next time. And what about dinner?
A: Lemon-salt-sauce ribs bento and pork shabu-shabu salad at the convenience store.
B: Shabu shabu?
A: It's thin slices of pork that have been boiled.
B: Oh, I see! Sounds light and good!
A: And what did you eat?
