Old players usually help you to roam around searching for lights, spirits, wings or simply chatting and playing around. Sky is definitely a fun game that I would recommend!

doing something "for" something implies that you have some control over the result
a source is "as a source", rather than "for a source" because you don't have control over the fact that it is a source, you just use it "as it is"
even in the case where you are attempting to control the source, like "they used advertising to control public opinion for a source of votes", "as a source" is more natural since "as a source" is more of a set phrase
anyway, that's my intuitive understanding as a native speaker
