Moomin Valley Park
Because my husband is on a business trip to Tokyo for a while, I returned to my parents’ home in Saitama, which is located next to Tokyo.
I stayed there for one night and two days, and visited Moomin Valley Park in Hanno with my parents and their dog.
The city of Hanno has long claimed that it resembles Finland and has negotiated with the trademark holder of Moomin.
As a result of these efforts, a theme park featuring Moomin and Nordic culture was opened in Hanno.
To be honest, I don’t really agree with the city’s claim, but Moomin Valley Park itself is very attractive.
On weekdays, it is not crowded, so you can enjoy the attractions, shows, and meet-and-greets comfortably.

Recently, I’ve come to like Moomin’s ancestor. I saw the character in a new show at Moomin Valley Park, and I thought the character costume looked really fluffy and cute. Of course, I like Moomin too!

edit. Ah I see, after a little research, Moomin is a comic from Finland and doesn't have any theme parks outside of Finland. But since Hanno looks like Finland, they put a Moomin Park there? So the city of Hanno and the trademark holder of Moomin are negotiating? If that is the case, then the grammar seems good but maybe could be a little clearer.
For example, ...has negotiated with the trademark holder of Moomin to secure the rights to build Moomin Park in Hanno. OR has been negotiating with the trademark holder of Moomin regarding the rights of building a Moomin Park outside of Finland.
Just a little more information so the reader knows what the negotiating is about because as someone who has no clue what Moomin is, I did not know what was being negotiated although I understand that it is implied when you say that Hanno claims it resembles Finland, I was still a bit confused.
Also, now reading the sentence after this. Since it already happened, you can omit the "has" and just say "and negotiated with." This makes it more clear that it happened and because of it, they can now build a theme park.

I'm sorry for my earlier explanation, which may have been unclear and misleading.
About three-quarters of Hanno is covered by forest, and forestry has long been an important industry there. The city also has a large artificial lake, and it promotes itself as “Nordic-like Japan” as part of its branding.
In Japan, the Nordic countries generally have a positive image, and Nordic-style goods and furniture are popular. In addition, Moomin animations were broadcast in the 1960s and 1990s, so many people—especially older generations—are familiar with the characters.
Given this background, Hanno obtained permission from Tove Jansson’s estate and opened a city park in 1997 that recreates the world of Moomin. This park is free to enter.
Later, when a private company planned to open the first Moomin theme park outside Finland, Hanno was selected as one of the candidate locations. Because the city had already built a good relationship with the rights holders and its lakeside scenery matched the Moomin setting well, Moomin Valley Park was eventually opened in Hanno.
As you pointed out, the word “negotiate” may not have been the best choice in this context.
