I read a stupid news today. The Economic Reference News (a brand of the official media of the Chinese government) published an article today, saying that online games as "mental opium" have grown into hundreds of billions of dollars industry, and any of these industry or competition will ruin a generation. The danger of online games to the growth of minors cannot be underestimated.
Nowadays, many people believe that the play-to-earn business model will become the most promising model for the game industry and even other industries. I think so too. But it's amazing that there is still a government media that criticizes games as psychotropic drugs. I feel like I've traveled back in time to the last century¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good sentence, but I was confused by one thing: what do you mean by "any of these industries or competition?" Industries similar to the gaming industry?

Is this your thought, or what the article said? To be a bit more clear, you can add "They/The article said" or something similar.

Nowadays, many people believe that the play-to-earn business model will become the most promising model for the game industry and even other industries.

I think so too.

But it's amazing that there is still a government media that criticizes games as psychotropic drugs.
