Difficult
It feels like reading and listening in a foreign language are stored in one drawer, while speaking and writing are in another, they require a whole different level of effort.
But I think they are still part of the same system.
I feel like "reading/listening" and "speaking/writing" are trained separately at first, but as level improves, the barrier between them starts to disappear.
I am not sure if it actually works that way, though.

外国語で読む・聞くことと、書く・話すことって別の引き出しに入っているかのように、難易度が違う気がする。
でも同じ収納の中には存在すると思ってる。
それぞれ別にトレーニングしていって、レベルが高くなってくるとその２つの間にある仕切りが無くなるようなイメージ。
実際にそうなるかは、分かりませんけどね。

I actually agree. I think at the beginning, when you have little experience, you're dealing with things l like "what are the sounds of the other language?" or "what's the grammar structure I need to use?". When you get to a more advanced level, it often turns into just more of a vocab problem.
