Yesterday I went to hike again
It's almost my busiest period of time this year, but still, I went hiking again yesterday.

A local family even gave me a big sweet potato as a souvenir after I chatted with them. They were digging the sweet potato field when we passed the second village.
I hope I have captured their fresh sweet potatoes out of the field. I was so engaged in communicating with them that I forgot to take photos or videos.

Actually, I was just commenting on the potential ambiguity of “almost,” which could mean either “快到了” or “几乎”, and whether you are already busy or will soon be busy.
If you mean “我的旺季快到了” then your original sentence is fine, except it would be more natural to reply “my busiest period of time this year” with “my busy season.”
But if you mean “现在这个时段几乎是我今年最忙的时段”, then you could say, “This period of time is almost my busiest this year….”
