An hour ago, I heard from a parent. He told me that he wanted to know whether his kid felt cold or not. I told him that the dormitory had been colsed. He said he knew that, he wanted to know more about his daughter's situation. "She behaves well," I said. Then he told me that his daught had told him that she sometimes couldn't understand the English lessons.
I was a little angry then. I hate that people always blame my work at the beginning of their calls. I told him that it was really normal phenomenon, if she could understand everything I taught, then she was really good at studying. What she should do wasn't complained with you, she should talk about the situation with me. I had lessons every day, it was quite easy for her to talk to me, but she never did. I tried my best at teaching, I'd even taught the most fundermental knowledge which wasn't required by school. But I still had to follow the teaching rules, so the students needed to study harder to catch up with my lessons rather than I slow down my steps. When I was a student, I never complained about my teachers with my parents, I just told them what tools I need, and I study by myself. I'd advised my students to buy a dictionary and a notebook. However, no one cared. When you heard your daughter's complaint, you should asked for more details and told her to talk with me.
He said he was sorry to disturb me, and he also hope me to supervise his daughter more. I replied, "I've told my students, I'm not their mother, so I won't push them to study harded every day. I have told them how to study for 3000 times."
He said he was sorry again. Then I said goodbye.
Some students always complain that it is fairly difficult to learn English. I emphasized,"Only if you spend two hours on it every day that will you qualify to state it difficult. "
