A Morning Run

Three days ago I started go for a run every morning. I've been thinking to start running at the beginning of spring, but I keep putting it off because of the quarantine, and after, when the sport shops were closed due to quarantine. Eventually, I bought a nice running shoes on last Saturday and started the next morning. I decided not to hurry and start from a little thing - run around a block where I live. Even this little effort is hard for me, because I've never run before. So today, I felt that my legs hurt, although I'm trying to run the proper way - placing my feet on the center, and not on the heel. After a run I do some exercises to relax and stretch my feet. As far I can say that I liked it. I like the coolness of morning air, as well as the feeling of how your legs and body works. Now I'm planning to make a habit of going for a run every morning, and achieving that I run the distance around the block with ease, and then I'll see what to do next.

You were thinking of starting running since the start of spring, and at the temporal reference point that you're using, you are now running. This means that the action of "thinking" has been completed, so you should use the past perfect progressive or another tense for the past. The last part needs rephrasing. I have given you one example, but depending on what you want to say, a different wording may be better.
