Problems with writing

I asked which is the best way to improve my writing skill in Reddit, they simply advised me to write more which is what I am trying to do right now. One of the stumbled blocks I've always been facing in writing is that I find myself struggling to express my thoughts and ideas in English. I don't know whether to think in English or in my native language. And I always have a hard time choosing words which would be the best for certain topics. I'd also like to expand my vocabularies and try to use them in my writing but I always end up using much simpler words than obscure words.Let's call it a day and end my post here.I intend to write at least a post a day from now on and I'd like to thanks to everyone who corrects my mistakes and explain.

"Obscure words" suggests that these are words even native speakers may be unfamiliar with.

Nice job. I just made a few corrections/suggestions.

This is a difficulty familiar to anyone who is writing in a second language.

Problems with wWriting

I asked which is the best way to improve my writing skill ion Reddit,t. They simply advised me to write more, which is what I am trying to do right now.

One of the stumbleding blocks I've always been facingfaced in writing is that I find myself struggling to express my thoughts and ideas in English.

I don't know whether to think in English or in my native language.

And I always have a hard time choosing words whichthat would be the best for certain topics.

You can begin sentences in English with conjunctions such as "and" or "but", although most native english speakers will be taught in school that it is outright incorrect. Either way, it sounds much less formal than using a word such as "however" or "also" or simply joining the two sentences clauses together with a comma in this way; "I don't know whether to think in English or my native language, and I always have a hard time choosing words that would be best for certain topics."

I'd also like to expand my vocabulariesy and try to use themwhat I've learned in my writing, but I always end up using much simpler words rather than obscure wordones.

You can omit the second use of "words" in the last half of your sentence, as its repeated use within the same clause can be redundant/sound repetitive.

Let's call it a day and end my post here.
