pray to the Buddha
I don't know having the habit of worshiping Buddha in other places.
Today I went to the temple in the mountains going to worship Buddha with my family in the morning early.
We will brought the sesame oil, biscuits and fruits to the Buddha and also give some money for sesame oil.
Amazingly, there is Confucius in this temple, so many parents come to here pray for their children's smooth exams. Sincerity makes it work. I hope everything goes well!

不知道其他地方有没有拜佛的习惯，今天和家人早早就去山里的寺庙拜佛。
我们会用香油、饼干、水果去给佛祖上供，还会给点香油钱。

In big cities there will usually be a Buddhist temple or two for people that follow Buddhism as a religion, but there's also a much larger group of people who take some aspects of Buddhist teachings (e.g. meditation) but not the rest of Buddhism. This light form of Buddhism is sometimes practiced by people that would describe themselves as Christian. I think some people mix Buddhism and other Asian religions like Confucianism or Shinto, so I guess it's not too different here that some people mix it with Christianity. Finally, there are also people who have statues of Buddha for purely decorative purposes.
