1. Did you hear about what happened yesterday? Was anyone hurt?
2. I hit the ball so far, it looked as if it just disappeared into thin air.
3. I tried making cookies this morning for my wife, but unfortunately I read the recipe wrong and put too much sugar. Way to ruin a snack!

Titles should be capitalised but this doesn't matter too much as this is a kind of casual post anyway so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just make sure on anything formal it is capitalised.
1. Did you hear about what happened yesterday?
Was anyone hurt?
2. I hit the ball so far, it looked as iflike it just disappeared into thin air.
This sentence is correct and sounds cool, but I think "looked as if it" is a bit of a mouthful so "looked like" sounds nicer to me.
3. I tried making cookies this morning for my wife, but unfortunately I read the recipe wrong and put in too much sugar.
I'd say "put in" or "added" instead of just "put too much sugar".
Way to ruin a snack!

This is cool, these are very natural sentences! I can tell you're trying (and succeeding) to reach a good level of natural fluency, well done! I made a couple of points about things just sounding a little off, but no actual grammar or spelling mistakes.
