One of the reasons why I chose Telegram as a platform for the channel is that it provides translation of messages and posts. While learning a foreign language, it is crucial to have convenient access to a version of the text in your mother tongue. Without such a shortcut, you have to browse the dictionary more than read the text if your language level does not correspond to or surpass the level of the text. In other words, a bilingual version of the post is a powerful booster for your English.
This fact might be regarded as empirically proven. As for me, when I learn German words with a flashcard app, I have sentences with their usage both in German and Russian. This practice has helped me raise my general A1 level of German to comprehension of B1 to B2 texts. Although it does not mean that I can speak fluently even on an A2 level, I have quite a few words in a very passive vocabulary that I didn't learn specifically with the app, and these words are the glue for small nuggets of sense you get when reading too complex texts.
To get free (you don't have to be a premium user) translated versions of the posts and such 'glue' for the future, go to Settings → Language → Show Translate Button (toggle it on) in your app and remove English from the 'Do Not Translate' Section if needed. Then, to translate a post or a poll, tap on it as if giving it a reaction, and tap Translate. That's all. Turn the translation on right now so you don't forget!
