Positive words.

Yesterday evening, I listened to a radio show which meant to teach us change our attitudes towards life.
The speaker said that individuals always tended to give up their rights to choose. People always thought they had to do something, but in fact, things that they did is not because they have no choice but to do so, it’s because they choose to do so.
The reason why they always use the negative words like “I have to…”is because they don’t want to take responsibilities. “I did that because someone unforced me”, then when serious consequences came up, the one who did would blame that it’s all someone else’s fault. So they won’t try their best to get things better.
The speaker tried to help us change the negative words using habits to positive ones. For example, changing the words “I have to” to “I choose to”. He said words have the magic power, when you change the words, even you do nothing at beginning, the attitude will change at the same time, and you will make more efforts at future. It sounds reasonable.
I will try it from now!😅

thank you so much!it helps a lot!

Yesterday evening, I listened to a radio show which was meant to teach us to change our attitudes towards life.

People always thought they had to do something, but in fact, the things that they did iswere not because they have no choice but to do so, it’sbut because they choose to do so.

If you want to sound a bit less verbose you can also phrase the second half like "the things that they did were not because had no choice, but because they chose to."

The reason why they always use the negative words like “I have to…” is because they don’t want to take responsibilitiesy.

“I did that because someone unforced me”, then when serious consequences caome up, the one who did it would blamesay that it’s all someone else’s fault.

If you want to use "blame" here I would write it like this: "the one who did it would blame someone else." Using the word "blame" already implies that someone is at fault.

So they won’t try their best to getmake things better.

The speaker tried to help us change the negative words using habits to positive ones using habits.
