Places to visit in Kyoto that are not in guidebooks

I’m gonna talk about Kyoto. But, it is not gonna be interesting to talk about famous temples and shrines because you’ve already heard about them a lot. So, what I’m gonna talk about is places to visit and restaurants to go, that are NOT in guidebooks, which should be more interesting.

First one is Daimonji, a mountain where Gozan No Okuribi is held in every summer.  It is a kind of the Obon festival on August 16, in which five giant bonfires are lit on mountains surrounding the city. You can go up to the fire grate, and you can enjoy the beautiful city view. I strongly recommend to go there at night rather than in the daytime. But, there is one thing you should be aware of. That is, "MAKE SURE YOU GO UP WITH A PERSON WHO HAS DONE BEFORE". There are no lights in the mountain and not so many landmarks too. You can easily get lost if you are not familiar with the mountain.

I’m gonnaing to talk about Kyoto.

"gonna" makes sense but is a little informal for this style of writing.

But, it is not gonnaIt wouldn't be interesting to talk about famous temples and shrines because that you've already heard about them a lo lot about.

It's okay to use "but" like this but don't overuse it as it is more dramatic. "However" is more appropriate usually.
