それでからくだものとやさいをかいました。
それで is usually used to describe a reason like "so". For example, 冷蔵庫（れいぞうこ）に牛乳がありませんでした。それで、スーパーに買いに行きました。( There was no milk in the refrigerator. So I went to the supermarket to buy some.)
帰り道に牛乳も買いました。
I think you can say 帰りに or 帰り道で.
