C'est été et les fleurs grandiront bientôt. Le soleil est chaud, et l'herbe est vert. Je suis très excitée!
It is summer and the flowers will grow soon. The sun is hot, and the grass is green. I am very excited!

We also don't capitalize every word of a title

Saying that "le soleil" (the celestial body itself) is hot is pleonastic. What you mean is that it results in a hot weather for us right now, so in French it'd rather be "le temps est chaud"
"Herbe" is feminine => vertE

Not always, it can be used in the sense of the English "excited", but also in that other sense, so, it's always tricky :-D
Don't worry though, as far as France is concerned, we're historically a country influenced by Roman & Greek cultures, so even if you said "je suis excitée" with people understanding "horny", you would've been more likely to receive a few amused smiles than death stares and outraged reactions!
