One of my hobbies is reading. I liked reading various books from my childhood. When I feel bored or want to learn something new, I will read some new books.

You *usually* (but not always) have the same tense in a When-Then construction. For example, “When I sing, people clap” or “When I was 8, I liked to dance” or “When I get to the moon (note, the grammar is present tense here but the meaning is future since this is a conditional, I will write my name on it”,
